10.4. Conductivity measurement in honey
The unit of conductivity of honey given by literary sources is 10

S/cm, which
means that one unit of conductivity of honey is equal 100
µ
S/cm. If the meter
indicates 250
µ
S/cm, it will inform about 2,5 units of honey conuctivity. If the
readout is equal 1,5 mS/cm, it will be equal 15 units of the conductivity of
honey. The table below contains conductivity values typical for different types
of honey.

10.5. Preparation of the measurement sample
Because of honey’s density, it is necessary to prepare water - honey solution
for the measurement. To do it, dilute 12g of honey in 50 ml of distilled water.
Next, choose the unit (the symbols, next to symbol, point 6.1) and
make the measurement according to the chapter 10.
