4.0 RECEIVER
The Receiver consists of an electronic high-sensitivity circuit paired up with the antenna; it picks up the signal
transmitted in its own channel and measures the intensity of the same. Special signal processing techniques make it
possible to compensate for the variations in the surrounding environment and also minimize the effects of possible
disturbance caused by pets or small birds.
The board includes a bank (equipped with four dip-switches) used for setting the work frequency.
Make sure that the receiver's work frequency is the same as the one set for the paired transmitter.
4.1 Terminal block
-
Power supply negative
– 12 V—
+
Power supply positive
– 12 V—
TP
Test point negative output for displaying the received signal
D
Disqualification signalling output: it provides a transistorized negative (50 mA max.) during the
rest state. This negative will not be available if the transmitter signal is not received for 30
seconds.
B
Positive input (12 V
— for the stand-by mode): when a positive is provided to this terminal, the
alarm relay will be blocked in the rest state.
C/NC
Alarm relay exchange (N.C.).
T T
Output (N.C.) for protection against sensor opening.
4.2 Adjustments
LEVEL
Received signal adjustment trimmer
SENS.
Sensitivity adjustment trimmer (increase when turning clockwise)
COMP.
Compensation adjustment trimmer (increase when turning counterclockwise)
