1.0 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The MWA60R/T model is
a microwave burglar system, the operation of which is based on the “field interruption”
principle. Thanks to a microprocessor capable of managing the signals, the MWA60R/T model is the perfect
instrument to protect large-sized surfaces, both indoor and outdoor, thus ensuring a very high degree of safety.
The system consists of a Transmitter and a Receiver, both of which shall be installed to form a pair by selecting, in
both units (i.e. Tx and Rx), the same work frequency from among the five ones available, by means of the SW1
(module equipped with four dip-switches) placed on the boards. This makes it possible to fit several pairs that cross
one another without giving rise to interferences.
1.1 SELECTIVE FILTER AND COMPENSATION
Each receiver is also equipped with a selective filter that chooses only the frequency for its own channel, rejecting all
the other frequencies. Special signal self-adjusting and processing circuits have been incorporated into the receiver,
which automatically compensate for the ambient condition changes.
1.2 DETECTION FIELD
The radiation field shape is well defined, which makes it possible to achieve a higher detection chances, the
undesired alarms being minimized.
The pieces of equipment consist only of solid-state devices; moreover, they are finished by making use of
tropicalizing resin, in order to ensure the best weatherproofing features.
