Node Electrical Parameters
The following registers provide basic information about each node/module installed. Each parameter contains 60 entries,
with each entry corresponding to a current input channel. If a node is not installed, or the parameter is not supported by
the installed node type, it will return 0 (for signed and unsigned integers), the null character (for strings), or QNaN (for
floating-point values).
For example, to read the Active Power of channel 5 (the second channel on the node in slot 2), read
registers 0x5108
–
0x5109, which is Offset + (½RegisterLength * (ChannelNumber
–
1)), or in this case,
(3 * (5
–
1)). Because it is a 2-byte register, both 0x5108 and 0x5109 must be read (0x5108 is the
most significant word).
