Dead-man’s handle: This handle is mounted on the handlebar
and must be pressed in order to start the engine. Releasing the
handle disengages the engine.
Protective covers: all the outward-rotating parts that could po-
tentially cause accidents are shielded by a protective cover. They
include the protective covers on the wheel drive and the covers
on the turbine at the suction nozzle.
Propulsion handles: these handles are also on the handlebar and
serve as actuator of the relevant wheel. Releasing the relevant
handle will shut off the traction.
Noise-reduced turbine: a rubber-lined turbine wall provides
considerable reduction of the noise levels, which is to the benefit
of the operator’s hearing.
Sturdy construction: the robust build reflects the durability of
these machines and also offers a safety guarantee for the opera-
tor in case of unforeseen circumstances.
