▪
The blades must be completely stationary when
you tilt the garden tool in order to transport it, when
you cross surfaces other than lawn and when you
transport the garden tool between two surfaces to
be mown.
▪
Never tilt the garden tool upon start-up or when
you turn on the motor, unless this is necessary for
switching on when the grass is tall. In this case, lift
the garden tool only as necessary
and only on the side opposite from the user, by
pushing down on the handlebar. Always ensure that
your hands are placed on the handlebar when you
place the garden tool back on the ground.
▪
Switch on the garden tool in accordance with the
instructions in the manual and take care to keep
your feet well away from the rotating parts.
▪
Keep feet and hands away from the rotating parts
of the garden tool.
▪
Keep at a sufficient distance from the ejection
zone when you work with the garden tool.
▪
Never lift or transport the garden tool while the
motor is running.
▪
Do not make any modifications to the garden tool.
Unauthorised modifications can compromise the
safety of your garden tool and will lead to increased
noise emissions and vibrations.
▪
Regularly inspect the power cord and the
extension cable used. Never connect a damaged
cable to the mains power supply and do not touch it
before it is disconnected from the mains power
supply. A damaged power cable could put you in
contact with electrically live parts. Protect yourself
against electric shocks.
▪
Wait until the blade is completely stationary if the
mower must be tilted for transport when you pass
over surfaces other than grass, and when you
transport the mower to and from the mowing area.
▪
Do not tilt the appliance when you start the motor,
except if the appliance must be tilted for start-up in
tall grass. In this case, tilt the appliance only as
necessary and only raise the side furthest away
from the user. Always ensure that both hands are in
the working position before placing the appliance
back on the ground.
▪
Switch on the mower in accordance with the
instructions while ensuring that feet are kept away
from the blades.
▪
Never place hands or feet under
or in proximity of the rotating parts.
▪
Always keep a distance from the ejection opening.
▪
Do not lift or transport the mower while the motor
is running.
▪
Ensure that all moving parts are completely
stationary:
−
when you move away from the mower;
−
before removing any blockage from the ejection
opening;
−
before checking, cleaning or carrying out
maintenance on the mower;
−
when the mower hits an object. Check that the
mower is not damaged and carry out necessary
repairs before restarting and using the mower.
▪
If the mower begins to vibrate abnormally, it must
be inspected immediately.
−
search for blockages;
−
carry out necessary repairs on damaged parts;
−
check that all nuts, bolts and screws are tightened.
▪
Keep all the nuts, bolts and screws tightened to
ensure that the mower is in good working order.
▪
Regularly check that the grass collection box is
neither worn out nor damaged.
▪
Replace worn out or damaged parts to ensure
safety.
Only use batteries and
chargers intended for this
appliance.
