Note!
The eye bolt on the motor must not be used to lift
the entire blower. This is used if the motor needs
to be (dis)assembled
2.2 Storage
• Ensure that the air intake connection and pressure connec-
tion are closed.
• Store the blower
-> in its original packaging if possible
-> in a closed room
-> in a dry, dust-free and vibration-free area.
• Storage temperature range from -10°C to +60°C
• After a storage period of 6 months, the blower bearings and
motor bearings should be checked before they are mounted
in the blower.
• Devices may be stored for a maximum of 2 years.
3 INFORMATION ON STARTING UP THE
MACHINE
3.1 Basic information
• Prior to the
fi
rst start-up and before any other start-up, the
proper operating status of the unit must be inspected. Units
that, for example, are found to be defective upon delivery
or during installation, must be examined by quali
fi
ed techni-
cians.
• Installation, assembly and operation must only be performed
by properly trained and quali
fi
ed specialists. Operation fol-
lowing incorrect installation, maintenance or unapproved
replacement of components constitutes non-designated use
and renders the warranty void. The resultant risk shall be
borne solely by the customer or owner.
3.2 Installation and assembly
• Protect the blower from the weather when it is being in-
stalled. For outdoor use, protection from the weather must
generally be provided that ful
fi
ls the requirements listed in
1.1 Intended Use and protects the blower from the in
fl
u-
ences of the weather.
• Only operate with a horizontal drive shaft.
Rubber pads are installed between the motor and motor
console with blowers HRD 60 FU-135 and HRD 2 FU-130.
Rubber pads are installed below the base plate with blower
HRD 7 FU-120. These are supplied with the blower and must
be always be used.
The rubber pads on both models must not be subjected to
any shear forces or tension.
• Do not subject to any vibration stress or impact force either
during the subsequent operation.
• We recommend the use of expansion joints on ventilation
connections.
• Blowers are subject to international ISO 14694 with regard
to vibration limits.

cations can be found in the following informa-

The blower shown is only a principle
fi
gure. The category
“
fl
exibly mounted” applies because of the use of rubber pads.
• Securely screw the device to a
fi
rm and level subsurface
at the place of operation with su
ffi
cient load-bearing capac-
ity and no vibration transmission/stress.
• After a storage period of 6 months, the blower bearings and
motor bearings should be checked before they are mount-
ed in the blower.
• Blower feet and consoles must be designed only for the
respective blower’s own weight.
• Cover the open air intake and discharge with protective
grilles according to DIN EN ISO 13857.
• Ensure that the motor has adequate ventilation.
Permissible ambient temperature: -10°C to +40°C.
• The ventilation system on the drive motor must not be
a
ff
ected by the installation situation.
