Bac kup c opy of t he dat abase

When you click Save at the end of a visual field examination the data is saved
in a database, the location of w hich is defined in the

file. The default

location is:

C:\Henson8000\data\fld8.db

The

Henson 8000

also saves a backup copy. This backup copy must be on a

different storage device (e.g. pen drive or external disc drive). The location of
backup copy is also defined in the Options file. If your backup location is not
available (e.g. USB pen drive not attached) then you w ill get a w arning
message w hen you attempt to save. You can continue to save the record
w ithout a backup copy.

This backup w ill ensure that you do not lose your data in the unlikely event of a
hard drive failure.
