Maintenance

Winter Storage

Automower™:

Clean the Automower™ carefully and set the main 
switch in the ”OFF” position. Store the mower indoors, 
in the original packaging, standing on all four wheels. 
For further information on cleaning, see ”Cleaning” on 
page 48.

Charging station:

If possible store the charging station, transformer and 
low voltage cable indoors. The boundary wire can be 
left in the ground. If the charging station is taken in you 
should protect the ends of the boundary wire from 
moisture by placing them, for example, in a tin with 
anhydrous grease. If indoor storage is not possible the 
boundary wire should remain connected. The charging 
station should remain connected to the mains supply.

After winter storage:

Check whether the Automower™, contact strips or 
charging strips need to be cleaned before using. If the 
charging or contact strips appear to be burnt, clean 
them using fine grade emery cloth. Check that the 
mower’s time and date are correct.
