Catalytic self-clean panels
These panels are coated with a special enamel coating, over normal enamel. During
normal cooking food spatters and fats are partially absorbed into the panels and
oxidises away.
If the liners and the cover become very dirty, they will need to be taken out of the oven
and cleaned.
Removing the catalytic panels
1 Grasp the shelf supports at the front.
2 Pull the shelf supports towards the centre
of the oven.
3 Separate the catalytic liners from the
shelf supports.
4 Soak the liners in hot soapy water for at least
two hours.
5 Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
6 To replace the liners, align them to the shelf
support by aligning the rails to the holes (see
diagram opposite).
7 Make sure that the catalytic surface is facing the
shelf support.
8 Clip the shelf support to the liner.
9 Fit the liner and the shelf support to the oven by:
• inserting the rear hook to the hole in the oven
(see diagram opposite).
• inserting the front hook to the hole in the oven
(see diagram opposite).
Note: Never use cleaning powders,
creamy cleansers, caustic oven
cleaners, steel wool or other
scourers on the liner surface.
