1.6.9
Differential
protection
(optional)
For QLE-A-O (10-40KVA) panels:
The differential device from 0.3A is
applied to the side of the MCCB on board
of the panel.
For QLE-A-V (50-250KVA) panels
:
A toroid 500/1 is installed on the ground
cable, that is installed inside the alterna-
tor. It is connected to the differential relay
(installed in the panel), which controls
the opening coil when the current starts
(negative security NA), which opens the
breaker on board of the alternator.
For QLE-A-O (10-40KVA) panels:
The MCCB, installed on board of the panel, is open (breaker
lever in DOWN position). Any type of optical or acoustic signal
on board of the panel does not intervene.
For QLE-A-V (50-250KVA) panels:

The MCCB, installed on board of the alternator, is open (break-
er lever in central position TRIP). It lights a led directly on the
differential relay that is installed inside the panel (open the
door of the vertical panel).

Protection
against
overload and
short-circuit
Overload:
If the rated current of the alternator is
exceeded, the MCCB on board of the
panel (QLE-A-O) or on board of the al-
ternator (QLE-A-V) will OPEN (breaker to
DOWN position) after a certain time, that
depends on the structural characteristics
of the breaker.
Short-circuit:
The short-circuit protection intervenes
immediately when the current of the
load exceeds 3 times the rated current.
For QLE-A-O (10-40KVA) panels:
The MCCB, installed on board of the panel, is open (breaker
lever in DOWN position). Any type of optical or acoustic signal
on board of the panel does not intervene.
For QLE-A-V (50-250KVA) panels:

• RESET MCCB:
QLE-A-O (10-40KVA) panel breaker on board of the panel: with G.S. off, take the lever to UP.
QLE-A-V (50-250KVA) panel breaker on board of the alternator: firmly press down the lever to OFF
position (down) and then to ON position (up).
