Euro-2000T Program manual

If the register enters an error state, possible errors are displayed by means of the following error messages:

E01

- the improper key was pressed, it was not awaited by the cash register

E02

- the department/PLU is forbidden or the preprogrammed HALO limit has been
exceeded

E03

- the item cannot be canceled; discount or add-on to the negative value

E04

- the GT1 value exceeded the maximum limit (GT1 overflow)

E05

- the number of items in one purchase exceeded the allowed limit (max.37)

E06

- the PLU was not edited in the programming mode

E07

- interrupted or wrong communication with the computer or with the bar code scanner

E08

- improper sampling of the cash register mode (malfunction of the mode switch)

- the printer is disconnected from mainboard or printer failure. You have to turn
the ECR off and check the printer connection to mainboard

10. Error messages

9.3. Self-test of keyboard

Self-test of the keyboard displays the internal button code after pressing the button. The test

checks functionality of the register buttons.

Procedure for running self-test of keyboard :

1. Turn the mode key to the Pposition.
2. Press number

button on the numeric keyboard.

3. Press the

(DUPLICATE) button.

4. Press individual buttons one after another and check the values on display

If the button works, its hexadecimal code appears in the display. By pressing the

(TOTAL) button its

hexadecimal code appears and at the same time the test of the keyboard is finished.

JP7

- wrong date and time on receipts. You have to turn off and on the ECR. If JP7

occurs again, call yuor dealer or nearest servis center.

HEAD

- the printer head is up. You have to move the printer head down by lever.

HEAT

- The temperature of thermal head is excceds the limit. You have to wait a few
seconds till temperature drops.

PAPE

ROU

- receipt or journal paper is missing.
