8. TROUBLESHOOTING
W a r n i n g !
All repairs may only be carried out by trained service technicians from competent
organizations having an appropriate authorization for such activities.
Before making any interventions into the equipment, it is necessary to reduce the air
pressure in the air chamber to zero and to disconnect the equipment from the electric
network.
THE DRYING UNIT DOES NOT WORK:
•
low operating pressure
- reduce the air offtake,
check the source efficiency,
check possible leaks in the distribution
•
inoperative solenoid valve
- repair or change the valve
•
clogged nozzle of the regenerating air - clean or replace the nozzle,
use correct size of the nozzle
(see Product maintenance)
•
inoperative cooler ventilator
- replace ventilator
- check supply of electric energy
•
leak of white liquid through the
solenoid valve
- dismantle the chamber, replace drying substance,
bottom filter and sealing and inspect tightness,
apply soapy water onto O-rings of the nuts
DRYING UNIT IS NOISY OR SOUNDS ANNOYING :
•
defective solenoid valve
- replace the valve
•
damaged damping substance in the
condensate vessel
- replace damping substance or the vessel
•
damaged pressure hose
- replace pressure hose
After troubleshooting and reassembly of the drier, it is necessary to carry out the drier regeneration by
starting the compressor with a small air offtake (compressor working mode 20-30%) up to the automatic
stop of regeneration.
