Please note:
The plow unit on the snow plow is
secured to the drive shaft using shearing bolts
(Fig. 21 / Item 30). These will break if the plow
unit strikes any hard objects and will thus protect
the snow plow from suffering major damage. Do
not replace the shearing bolts with normal bolts.
Two spare bolts with nuts are supplied in the
package.
Push the right-hand control lever (Fig. 1 / Item 2)
downwards to engage the drive unit and the
snow plow will start to move.
Steer the snow plow over the areas and paths
you wish to clear from snow.
Important.
If the snow ejection unit becomes
blocked: Switch off the engine and wait until the
plow unit has reached a complete standstill.
Clean the snow ejection unit using a solid object
(for example a wooden pole).
7.3 Switching off the engine
Push the throttle lever (Fig 1a / Item 13) to the
left (idling).
Close the petrol cock (Fig. 1a / Item 15).
Set the ON/Off switch (Fig. 1 / Item 12) to the
“OFF” position.

9. Maintenance
Remove dust and dirt regularly from the
machine. Cleaning is best carried out with a fine
brush or a cloth.
Never use caustic agents to clean plastic parts.
Please note: Switch off the unit immediately and
contact an authorized dealer:
In the event of unusual vibrations or noise.
If the engine appears to be overloaded or
misfires.
9.1 Air filter maintenance
Clean the air filter before every use, and replace
it if necessary.
Undo the screw on the air filter cover (Fig. 24)
and remove the cover (Fig. 25).
Undo the screw on the filter element (Fig. 26)
and remove it (Fig. 27).
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or petrol to
clean the element.
Clean the element by tapping it on a flat surface.
Assemble in reverse order.
9.2 Spark plus maintenance
Check the spark plug for dirt and grime after 10
hours of operation and if necessary clean it with a
copper wire brush. Thereafter service the spark plug
after every 50 hours of operation.
Pull off the spark plug boot (Fig. 28) with a twist.
Remove the spark plug (Fig. 29) with the
supplied spark plug wrench.
Assemble in reverse order.
9.3 Changing the oil and checking the oil level
(before using the machine)
Change the engine oil every year before the start of
winter (in addition to the information in the petrol
service manual) when the engine is warm.
Use only engine oil (10W30).
Open the oil filler plug (Fig. 30 / Item C).
Open the oil drain plug (Fig. 30 / Item B). Use the
extension port to apply counterpressure. Drain
the warm engine oil into a container.
Close the oil drain plug again when the waste oil
has drained out.
Add engine oil up to the top mark on the oil
dipstick (approx. 0.6 liters). Use the supplied
funnel and filler hose for this purpose.
Do not screw the dipstick in to check the oil level,
