Lamp management
This Projector is equipped with 4 Projection Lamps to en-
sure brighter image and those lamps are controlled by
the Lamp Management Function. The Lamp Management
Function detects the status of lamps and shows the status
on screen or on the LAMP REPLACE indicators. This func-
tion also automatically controls the Lamp Mode when any of
lamps is out for the end of life or malfunctions.

Lamp Mode changeover
The Lamp mode function automatically changes the light-
ing lamp (Lamp Mode) by detecting the status of lamp.
For example, in 4-lamps mode, if one of the 4 lamps fails,
the projector operates with the rest of the lamps, and the
lamp mode automatically switches to the 3-lamps mode. To
change the lamp mode manually, use the Lamp mode func-
tion. The illustrations shown right are the examples of on-
screen lamp status in each lamp mode.
