STEP 2:
Place your finger inside the SP02 Tester and the tester will automatically run and read you
blood oxygen level which will be displayed on the screen.

NOTE:
•
Wear blood oxygen clamp correctly according to the identification. Probe wire should be on the
back of your hand(fingernail side upward).
•
When measuring, keep hand blood flow smoothly.
•
Relax and control emotion. Do not move the measurement device and avoid talking.
STEP 3
: Wait for 1 minute before getting the result.
STEP 4:
Select/Click
“Save” to upload the result.
8.3
Measurement Limitation
•
Significant levels of dysfunctional hemoglobin (such as carbonyl - hemoglobin or methemoglobin)
may interfere with the measurement. The pulse oximeter should not be used on people with smoke
inhalation, carbon monoxide poisoning, and heavy cigarette smoking.
•
Low quantity of hemoglobin may affect the result.
•
Using the sensor with patients with conditions such as Hypovolemia, Hypotension and Hypothermia
may result into no signal or inaccurate result.
•
Irregular signals may occur due to irregular heartbeats or by patient’s excessive movements.
•
Intravascular dyes such as indocyanine green or methylene blue may affect the readings.
•
Exposure to strong external light may affect the results. Cover the sensor if necessary.
