Image Acquisition
It takes only minutes for the GPS to acquire the photographic images
that provide all the information necessary to register sensor positions.
The sensor positions are then modeled after the patient is released.

Imaging Guidelines
To acquire usable photographic images, do the
following:
•
Ensure that the GSN being used has the
black-
white
“White Label”
or the
“Silver Dot”
sensor
labels.
•
Ensure that the GSN has been applied such
that sensors are evenly spaced across the
head.
•
Ensure that all sensors of the GSN are clearly
visible and that no wires are obscuring any
sensor labels, including around the back of
the head where leads and hair amass.
•
Each GSN has 8 to 21 cardinal (
white on black
or
black and silver
) sensors, which serve as
orientation points. Ensure that at least one
cardinal point (three is best) appears in each
camera view.
