Chapter 3 Transport and Installation
3.1
Robot transport
3.1.1
Transport considerations
The following are the precautions for robot transport operations. Please fully
understand the following, safe operation
:
The transportation of the robot and the control device must be carried out by qualified personnel
with hooks, lifting operations, forklifts, etc. Operators who do not have the correct skills to carry
out the transportation work may cause accidents such as tipping and falling.
When transporting the robot and control device, follow the method described in the manual, and then check
the weight and procedures before starting work. If the operation cannot be carried out according to the
specified method, the robot and the control device may fall over or fall during the transportation process,
resulting in an accident.
Care should be taken to avoid damage to the wiring when carrying and installing. In addition,
after the device is assembled, protective measures such as a protective cover should be taken to
avoid damage to the wiring by operators, forklifts, etc.
3.1.2
Handling method
In principle, use cranes and other machinery for hoisting. When hoisting, the sling installation
method is as shown in the figure below. Adjust the robot joints to the position shown in the figure.
When hoisting, in order to keep the appearance of the robot from wearing, you should add
protection at the robot and the sling joint. Cushions and other things to protect.
Set the robot in the posture shown in Figure 3.1. Then, the lifting position is on the upper end
surface of the robot's original transport tooling (the total allowable weight is greater than the weight
of the robot body). The rubber hose should be placed on the part where the soft suspension rope
contacts the robot body for protection. When hoisting, the angle of each axis should be adjusted to
the value given in the following table to ensure that the center of gravity is in the middle and easy to
lift. When hoisting, please straighten the robot to avoid tilting and tipping the robot.
