Maintenance
Note

Maintenance work is only allowed to be
carried out by qualified and instructed
personnel.
Warning!
Cutting hazard!
Before carrying out any
maintenance work, switch off
the device and disconnect it
from the compressed air
network!
10.1.1 Daily maintenance of the dehider
To ensure the longest possible service life and low wear and tear, the dehider must be checked and serviced
regularly.
Service and maintenance work must only be carried out by instructed personnel.
Only use genuine spare parts or spare parts recommended by
Schmid & Wezel GmbH
Maschinenfabrik.
Blade
Remove the dehider from the breaking hall and take it to the maintenance location or workshop to remove the
blades there. Check the blades regularly.
10.2
Repair by the customer service
Danger!
Repairs are only allowed to
be carried out by qualified
and instructed personnel.
Danger!
Disconnect the dehider from
the compressed air network
prior to performing any repair
work.
Danger!
Only use genuine spare
parts.
The
EFA Service department of Schmid & Wezel GmbH
is at your disposal for repairs.
If your equipment needs to be repaired, please contact the nearest authorised service centre or our head
office.
In the event of malfunctions that cannot be clearly localised, the device should be returned to
S&W
for
repair.
