6) Before inserting the cleaned blades, grease the suspension pins (7) on the piston rod arms, the race (8),
the blade bush (9), the dehider blades and the corrugated spring (10).
7) The assembly is carried out in reverse order.
8) After assembly, press EFA special grease into the three grease nipples (11, 12 and 13) with 2 strokes of a
grease gun.
Parts must be replaced if:
the race (8), blade bushing (9) or suspension pin (7) on the piston rod
arms are run in or worn out;
the blades (4) are blunt. Resharpen blunt dehider blades on the blade
grinding machine "EFA 53";
the corrugated spring (10) is not exposed to clamping force.
EFA 2000
(see Fig. 8.6 and Fig. 8.7)
1) Unscrew the countersunk screw (1) with a screwdriver
(right-hand thread).
2) Remove the blade cover (2).
3) Remove blade (3) carefully.
4) Clean the blade in warm water and lightly grease it with
EFA special grease.
5) Wipe the housing (4) and blade cover (2) clean and lightly
grease them with EFA special grease.
6) The assembly is carried out in reverse order. Tighten screw (1) to a
tightening torque of 5.5 Nm.
7) After assembly, press EFA special grease into the grease nipple (5)
with 2 strokes of a grease gun.
Important!
Only grease the EFA 620 and
EFA 2000 with the supplied EFA
special grease!
A thin lubricating film is sufficient.
Gear unit lubrication EFA 2000
(see Fig. 8.8)
1) Remove the blade cover
see Fig. 8.6
.
2) Press EFA special grease into the grease
nipple (10) with 2 strokes of a grease gun.
3) Screw the blade cover back on with a
tightening torque of 5.5 Nm.
