RADIASOL produces domestic hot water through a
single solar radiation/water direct-exchange circuit.
It does not require any antifreeze products or circulation
pumps. RADIASOL must always be connected with the
cold water inlet in the lower side and the hot water
outlet in the upper side.

Do not install RADIASOL in the shade
or in poorly exposed areas making sure
that they are properly tilted.
2.3 Recycling and disposal
RADIASOL is mainly built with recyclable
materials such as glass, aluminium and steel.
When it needs to be disposed of, please ask the
local waste collection service for information
on waste disposal.

The climate zones stated by EDN
should be strictly complied with
(please ask our technical office for any
information) to avoid wasting water
and a wrong system sizing.

The “ d ” models with double glazing
can be used at temperatures below
-10° C with the obligation to install the
antifreeze kit for external piping.
The “
s
” models with single glass cannot
be used at temperatures below -10° C.
Always insulate adequately external
piping to prevent freezing winter.
CAUTION: EDN shall not be liable in
any way for any damages and injuries
occurring to users, operators, third parties,
animals and objects that may be caused by
any improper use or modifications of the
exchangers, as well as by the installation
of non-original components.

Tampering or removing the marking
label will void any warranty cover for
the product.
2.1 Usage requirements
To make an analysis of the water before installing
RADIASOL
(see chap. 8 Warranty).
To get the best profits, point the exchanger southward
(or northward, if the installation zone is in the Southern
Hemisphere) applying a tilt angle between 30° and 40°.
A different orientation and tilt angle may cause heat
rate variations.
Please specify the data shown on your product label
every time you ask for assistance.

2.2 Marking data
A label placed on one side identifies RADIASOL models.
