Problem

There is a smell of fumes.

- Fumes are escaping into the air

- Check that the loading and 

combustion chamber doors close 
correctly

- Draught register

- Make sure it opens the primary air 

damper

- Chain unhooked or broken

- Hook the chain back on

- Primary air register damper jammed

- Manually release the damper

- Load wood

- Follow the procedure described in 

this manual

The boiler has reached the set 
temperature but the radiators are 
still cold

- Presence of air
- System components

- Contact the Technical Service 

The boiler does not reach the set 
temperature

- Draught register

- Make sure it opens the primary air 

damper

- Chain unhooked or broken 

- Hook the chain back on

- Primary air register damper jammed

- Manually release the damper

- Flue gas path and/or boiler dirty

- Clean the flue gas path
- Clean the boiler

- Load wood

- Follow the procedure described in 

this manual

Flue gas emissions dark in colour

- Flue blocked
- Boiler dirty
- Ash collection container full

- Clean the flue gas path
- Clean the boiler
- Empty the container and clean the 

ash collection chamber
