6.3.4 UNIT OPTION PROGRAMMING

The MMU-16LE
SmartMonitor
®
provides a set of independently programmed options which
assist in configuring the MMU-16LE
SmartMonitor
®
to various wiring or operating
conventions in the cabinet.
6.3.4.1 RECURRENT PULSE OPTION
The Recurrent Pulse Detection function is
DISABLED
by setting RECURRENT PULSE to
the OFF state. See Section 3.7. The Factory Default setting is ON.
6.3.4.2 WALK DISABLE OPTION
The Walk Disable function is
ENABLED
by setting the by setting WALK DISABLE to the
ON state. See Section 2.2.2 and . The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.4.3 LOG CVM FAULTS OPTION
The CVM Logging function is
DISABLED
by setting LOG CVM FAULTS to the OFF state.
See Section 2.3.2.2. The Factory Default setting is ON.
6.3.4.4 EXTERNAL WATCHDOG ENABLE OPTION
The External Watchdog Monitoring function is
ENABLED
by setting EXTERN WATCHDOG
to the ON state. See Section 3.3. The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.4.5 +24V-II = 12 VDC ENABLE OPTION
Setting the +24VDC Monitor II threshold to 12 Volts DC is
ENABLED
by s24V-2 =
12Vdc to the ON state. See Section 2.3.1.3. The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.4.6 PROGRAM CARD MEMORY ENABLE OPTION
The nonvolatile memory interface on the EDI Program Card is
ENABLED
by setting PGM
CARD MEMORY to the ON state. See Section 1.2.4. The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.4.7 LEDGUARD
®
ENABLE OPTION
The
LEDguard
®
Monitoring function is
ENABLED
by setting LEDguard to the ON state. See
Section 1.4.1. The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.4.8 FORCE TYPE 16 MODE ENABLE OPTION
The Force Type 16 mode can be
ENABLED
by setting FORCE TYPE 16 to the ON state.
See Section 1.4.2.2. The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.4.9 TYPE 12 WITH SDLC MODE ENABLE OPTION
The Port 1 SDLC operation can be
ENABLED
in the TYPE 12 mode by setting TYPE 12
WITH SDLC to the ON state. See Section 1.4.2.1. The Factory Default setting is OFF.
6.3.5 VIEW PERMISSIVES

The permissive programming defined by the soldered jumpers on the Program Card can be
reviewed for each Primary channel 1:15. The Main Status display will show the Primary
channel number which is also indicated by the
▼
symbol on the Channel Status display. All
Secondary channels programmed permissive (jumper installed) with the displayed primary
channel will be indicated on the Channel Status display with their
and
icons
illuminated. Pressing the NEXT button will increment the display to the next Primary
channel.
These settings are read-only and require the Program Card jumpers to be changed.
