NOTE: Measure Auto trace can only be activated on a frozen Doppler strip. Live Auto
Trace is available as a separate feature on the Doppler touch screen.
HR
:
The HR measurement tool can provide the heart rate calculation.
To use the HR measurement tool:
1.
Invoke the Measure
Function on a Doppler strip.
2.
If HR is not the default measurement, select HR from the touch screen.
3.
Move the caliper to the first heart beat. Press the
Set
key to activate a second caliper.
4.
Move the second caliper to position the next beat.
5.
Press the
Set
key to complete HR measurement or press the
Update
key to switch
between moving the first caliper or second caliper.
6.
The HR measurement can display the following result(the actual results shown will
depend on the preset):
HR
RI
: The RI measurement can measure the PS and ED to calculate RI and S/D.
To use the RI measurement tool:
1.
Invoke the Measure Function on a Doppler strip.
2.
If RI is not the default measurement, select RI from the touch screen.
3.
Move the caliper to position the PS point. Press the
Set
key to activate a second caliper.
4.
Move the second caliper to position the ED point.
5.
Press the
Set
key to complete RI measurement or press the
Update
key to switch between
moving the first caliper or second caliper.
6.
The RI measurement can display the following result(the actual results shown will depend
on the preset):

S/D
7.3.1.3. M-mode Generic Measurements
The system supports the following types of generic M-mode measurements:
Caliper
HR (Heart Rate)
Caliper
: The Caliper measurement can provide a wide range of results.
To use the Caliper measurement:
1.
Invoke the Measure Function on an M-mode strip. A caliper measurement is automatically
invoked. It displays the Depth at the current location.
2.
Move the Caliper to the desired location.
