Presses of the
Update
key toggle which side of the caliper can be moved. Pressing the
Set
key completes the first caliper pair and creates the second caliper pair.
5.
Repeat step 3~5 to complete the second caliper pair and create the third caliper pair.
6.
Repeat step 3~5 to complete the third caliper pair and allow you to begin another
measurement.
Stenosis
: Stenosis can be measured with Caliper Pairs, Ellipses, Traces or Spline.
To measure Stenosis with Caliper Pairs:
1.
Invoke the Measure Function on a B-mode image.
2.
If Stenosis is not the default measurement, select
Stenosis
from the touch screen.
If Caliper is not the default tool, press
Tool Options
to switch to Caliper.
3.
Move the caliper to the desired location.
4.
Press the
Set
key to place that caliper and add the second half of the caliper pair.
5.
Presses of the
Update
key toggle which side of the caliper can be moved. Pressing the

key completes the caliper and creates the second caliper pair tool.
6.
Repeat step 3~5 to complete the second caliper pair and allow you to begin another
measurement.
To measure Stenosis with Ellipses:
1.
Invoke the Measure Function on a B-mode image.
2.
If Stenosis is not the default measurement, select
Stenosis
from the touch screen.
If Ellipse is not the default tool, press
Tool Options
to switch to Ellipse.
3.
Move the caliper to the desired location.
4.
Press the
Set
key to place that caliper and add the second half of the caliper pair.
5.
Press the
Set
key to place the second half of the caliper. An ellipse appears and can be
adjusted with the trackball.
6.
Presses of the
Update
key toggle between controlling each side of the ellipse caliper and
the ellipse diameter. Pressing the
Set
key completes the first Ellipse and creates the
second Ellipse tool.
7.
Repeat step 3~6 to complete the second Ellipse and allow you to begin another
measurement.
To measure Stenosis with Traces:
1.
Invoke the Measure Function on a B-mode image.
2.
If Stenosis is not the default measurement, select
Stenosis
from the touch screen.
If Traces is not the default tool, press
Tool Options
to switch to Traces.
3.
Move the caliper to the desired location.
4.
Press the
Set
key to place the caliper and start drawing the trace.
5.
Moving the caliper now leaves behind a trail of dots to mark the trace outline
6.
Press the
Set
key to complete the trace.
7.
Repeat step 3~6 to complete the second trace and allow you to begin another
measurement.
