Using a 6 mm chisel, and holding the flat side of the chisel towards the header, cut through
the damaged riser, flush against the header. A round hole is created in the manifold header.

Insert the repair pin onto the handle.

Spray the rubber sleeve with a
silicone spray lubricant and pull it over
the small metal pin of the repair
handle.
Stretch and relax the rubber sleeve a
number of times over the metal pin.

Gently push the rubber sleeve into the hole created by the removal of the riser, until
only the head is showing.
