[Example 3] Bill requirement: Bill length is 150mm, cutting /tearing position is 142mm from the black

mark position, and beginning print-position is 32mm from the cutting/tearing position.

Calculating the cutting /tearing position offset

As the distance between the black mark and the cutting/tearing position is greater than L

(67mm), therefore, cutting /tearing position offset = (67+150-142)/0.176=426 points.

Using the following command to set the cutting /tearing position offset

1D 28 46 <4> <0> <2> <0> <AA> <1>

Calculating the beginning print-position offset

(32-29)/0.176+426=443 points

Using the following command to set the beginning print-position offset

1D 28 46 <4> <0> <1> <0> <BB> <1>

After finishing the above setting, using the same command as example 1 and example 2

when printing every bill.

Note: 1. As long as the cutting/tearing position offset isn’t 0, use GS ( F command to set

the cutting/tearing position offset (a=2) and beginning print-position offset (a=1)
respectively.

2. Only after setting the beginning print-position could use the GS FF command to

feed paper to the beginning print-position, or else, it may detect the wrong
position or feed paper one page without printing anything.

3. After using GS ( F command to change the previous offset, it may detect the

wrong position or feed paper one page without printing anything in the first bill
printing, but it will be correct in the following bill printing.
