THE

NTERNET

1 Download the latest software version from www.archos.com. to your computer.
2

Connect the PocketDISH to the computer. Note that the "USB cable attached" pop-up displays.

On the computer, locate the PocketDISH drive and double click.

Note that a file called UPDATE_AV500E.AOS is present.

On the computer, unzip the new software and copy it onto the PocketDISH drive.

When prompted, overwrite the current file.

In the PC system tray (next to the clock), locate and click the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon.

Safely disconnect the USB cable from the PocketDISH.

On the desktop, use the Setup keys to highlight the Setup menu icon and press the center
Setup key. Then highlight the System icon and press ON.

10 Highlight Update Firmware and press ON. Allow PocketDISH time to update the software.
11 When the "Update OK." pop-up displays, press ON and wait until the desktop displays.
