Chapter 4

I

NTRODUCTION

With your PocketDISH you can transfer video files from your computer, your camcorder, USB 
flash drive or any other multimedia device which operates as a USB mass storage device.

The PocketDISH can support the DISH Network and DivX/XviD simple profile MPEG-4 format. If 
you encounter a format that is not supported, it is possible to convert the file into a format that the 
PocketDISH will playback.

On the hard drive of the PocketDISH you will find a set of PC tools (MPEG-4 Translator) that you 
can use to convert video files into a playable format. You have to transfer the folder onto your 
computer, so you can install the conversion tools. 

Detailed instructions are given in the next chapter.
