Conditions aff ecting the wireless transmission
This device obtains information about exact time through a radio signal. Like in case of other wireless
equipment, reception capability is aff ected among others by following conditions:
• Distance from signal source
• Terrain unevenness
• High buildings in vicinity
• By railway lines, high voltage lines, etc.
• Highways, airports vicinity, etc.
• Large building sites in vicinity
• Ferro-concrete constructions
• By close electrical appliances
• By close computers and TV sets
• Inside the means of transport
• Metal constructions and objects
Suitable location
This device receives radio signals like a TV set or a radio. Make sure that the clock is placed near a window
or in another suitable location with a good reception. Avoid following locations where interference with
reception could occur.
Inside or close to reinforced concrete
structures or buildings, if the clock is not
placed close to window (with opened
curtains)
Near high voltage lines.
Inside moving vehicles (automobiles, trains,
planes, etc.), whose radio transmissions or
electronics may interfere with receiving the
radio controlled time.
Too close to home appliances (computers,
TV sets, audio visual devices, faxes or
amplifi ers).
Close to building sites, traffi c lights, traffi c
signs, neon billboards, etc.
On metal surfaces/boards or in their
vicinity.
USE AND DISPOSAL OF WASTE
Wrapping paper and corrugated paperboard – deliver to scrapyard. Packing foil, PE bags, plastic elements – throw into
plastic recycling containers.
DISPOSAL OF PRODUCTS AT THE END OF LIFETIME
Disposal of electric and electronic equipment (valid in EU member countries and other European
countries with an implemented recycling system)
The represented symbol on the product or package means the product shall not be treated as domestic waste.
Hand over the product to the specifi ed location for recycling electric and electronic equipment. Prevent
negative impacts on human health and the environment by properly recycling your product.
