Wartung
Reinigung der Linse:
Blasen Sie lose Teilchen mit reiner
Preßluft weg. Zurückbleibende Verun-
reinigungen werden dann vorsichtig mit
einem weichen Pinsel entfernt. Wischen
Sie die Oberfl äche vorsichtig mit einem
feuchten Wattebausch ab. Der Watte-
bausch kann mit Wasser befeuchtet
werden.
Hinweis:
KEINE Lösungsmittel zur Rei-
nigung der Linse verwenden.
Reinigung des Gehäuses:
Mit Seifen-
lösung und Schwamm oder einem wei-
chen Tuch reinigen.
Hinweis:
Das Gerät darf NICHT in Was-
ser eingetaucht werden.

Operation
3.1 Loading the battery into the
device
Remove the battery compartment cover
(8) on the front side of the thermometer.
Place two alkaline 1,5 V AAA microcells
(e.g. Type LR 03) in the battery com-
partment.
Ensure correct polarity!
3.2 Selecting °C and °F
In order to switch between Celsius and
Fahrenheit, depress the down key (4).
The resulting change is visible by the
symbol.

Utilisation
3.1 Pose des piles
Enlevez le couvercle des piles (8) situé
sur le devant du thermomètre. Insérez
deux mini piles alcalines 1,5 V AAA (de
type LR 03) dans le compartiment.
Respectez les polarités!
3.2 Conversion °C/°F
Pour pouvoir passer des degrés Celsius
aux Fahrenheit, appuyez sur la touche
de réduction (4).
Le symbole change et
vous confi rme ainsi la modifi cation.
3.3 LOCK Mode
The Lock Mode is especially useful, if
the current temperature is supposed to
be constantly displayed.
The thermometer displays the current
temperature for 60 minutes or as long
as button (2) is depressed.
