5.7 Wiring examples

CAUTION

The +U5V pin is used to provide 5 V from the controller for supplying the motor encoders. No external
voltage may be applied to this pin!

If a voltage is applied to the +U5V pin (X2.7 see Chapter “5.3.1 Interfaces” on page 23) on the controller, this
can result in irreparable damage to the device.
