5.1.3 Changing the impeller (AD-80.7)
1. Screw the two M2.5x12 screws supplied into the marked
holes with an Allen wrench WAF2 until the latches can no
longer come into contact with the slip hub’s cams. The
impeller must be able to rotate freely by 360°.
2. Mark out one of the two holes on the rear of the impeller
with the bearing needle Ø4x24.8 provided. Turn the
impeller with the bearing needle anti-clockwise until the pin
is resting on the housing.
3. Open the M8x40 screw with a WAF13 open-ended wrench.
The latches of the brake mechanism must not be used to
hold the impeller when loosening or tightening the screws.
4. Remove the screw, slip hub and impeller. Remove the
bearing needle dia. 4x24.8.
5. Check the bearing surface of the impeller for soiling and
clean if necessary.
6. Fit the new impeller, slip hub and screw. Make sure that the
pins sit in the recesses provided in the slip hub.
7. The slip hub and impeller must no longer be able to rotate
against one another.
