5.7 CAN cabling of internal battery packs
1. As there is only one master battery pack, connect the Com IN and Com OUT of the bottom string together with a
short Ethernet cable (patch cable) to close the CAN bus.
2. Connect the Com OUT of each battery pack to the Com IN of the following pack with a short Ethernet cable.
3. Connect the Com OUT of the last pack to the Com IN of the master battery pack.
4. Connect the two green input/output connectors between the connection box and the master battery pack.
Make sure that the 12 V and CAN pins are connected according to
