Display
When the Digitrip 1150 trip unit is first powered-up, the display
will show a learning screen. This screen will only last briefly as
the microprocessor in the display module learns the information
about the system and the trip unit. The trip unit at this time is
already functioning and performing protection calculations and
could be called upon to trip the circuit breaker independently
of the display module actions. Following this, the display
will enter into the MAIN menu screen. See
Appendix D:
Display, Indicators and Menus
for more information on the
programming screens.
If the Digitrip settings have not been saved previously, the trip
unit will use factory default values.
Main menu
There are seven different submenu selections from the main
menu. Each of these submenus is selectable by highlighting
the icon and pressing the SEL push button. Depending on
the Digitrip model, certain menus or screens are not viewable
or programmable. Such as when using the LSI style trip unit,
viewing and programming menu screens involving Ground or
Earth settings are not viewed or accessible.
