1
The circuit breaker opens automatically
(The reset button is popped out)
Overload fault trip ("I
r1
" light is lit on)
Check and eliminate the fault in the circuit according
to the fault type and fault current displayed on the
controller. Press the red reset button, then close the
circuit breaker
Short circuit fault trip ("I
sd
" light is lit on or "I
i
" light is lit
on)
Ground fault trip ("I
g
" light is lit on)
2
The circuit breaker opens immediately
as soon closed (the reset button is not
popped out)
Power supply still exists on the shunt coil
Check the line
The undervoltage release is damaged
Replace damaged trip unit
The mechanism is faulty
Contact us for repair
3
The circuit breaker opens immediately as
soon closed, and the reset button pops
out
Closed due to short circuit
Check the condition of the circuit breaker
Transient current is too large during closing
Improve the set points of the power grid or control
unit, and check the condition of the circuit breaker
before putting it back to operation
Intelligent controller is faulty
Contact us for repair
4
The circuit breaker cannot be closed
remotely (can be closed by pressing the
closed button on the basic device)
The closing coil has insuffi cient power supply
Check its power supply (for voltage normality)
The line is faulty
Check whether the line is correct
The closing coil is faulty
If the power supply and lines are normal, it could be
a component failure. Contact us for repair
5
Motor charging fails (manual charging is
fi ne)
The motor charger has insuffi cient voltage (<0.85Us)
Check the motor operator’s circuit by providing a
voltage greater than 0.85Us; if the voltage and
wirings are normal, contact us for repair.
The motor operator is faulty
6
The handle cannot be inserted to lever
out or in the basic device
A padlock is mounted with the "Disconnected" position
Remove the padlock
The sliding panel or basic device is not fully levered into
the "Disconnected" position
Lever the sliding panel or the basic device into the
"Disconnected" position
7
The sliding panel or basic device cannot
lever out from the cassette
The handle remains in the inserted position
Remove the handle and keep it properly
The circuit breaker is not fully levered out to the
"Disconnect" position
Lever the circuit breaker out to the “Disconnected”
position
8
The circuit breaker cannot be opened
remotely (can be opened by pressing the
opening button on the basic device)
The power supply voltage of the shunt coil is too low
(<0.7Us)
Check whether the power supply voltage is normal
The shunt coil circuit is faulty
Check if the line is proper
The shunt release is faulty
If the voltage and line are normal, contact us for
repair.
9
The circuit breaker cannot be opened
locally
The mechanical device is faulty or the main circuit is
welded
Contact us for repair.
10
The circuit breaker cannot be closed
remotely and locally
The fault trip indicator is not reset
Reset the reset button after checking and
troubleshooting
The circuit breaker is not fully in the Connected position
Lever the circuit breaker fully into the Connected
position
The under-voltage release is out of power or faulty
Check whether the circuit of the undervoltage
release is energized
Anti-closing lock is locked in the “OFF” position
Unlock the anti-closing lock
The circuit breaker is interlocked
Remove the interlocking
The following table allows you to determine the cause of the fault and how to trouble shoot.
If the fault still exists no matter what you do, please contact us and we will provide you with suggestions or troubleshoot for you.
