Appendix A: WAN User Connection 

 
The system support user connection via WAN port to upload / download files.   
 

Windows 

 

The easyRAID NAS system has integrated FTP utility OCX clients for user to connect 
easyRAID NAS via FTP to upload and download files through WAN port. Please refer 
the Appendix B of this manual for details usage.   
 
Each registered WAN user, the system will create “HOME” directory automatically by 
default and unchangeable. Please refer the figure below. 
 

 

Remote connection to easyRAID NAS via WAN port 

 

Apple 

For MAC users to remote connect with easyRAID NAS via WAN port, it is exactly 
same way while you connect in local LAN. The only thing need to remind here that 

AppleTalk must be active

. And again the only working directory is “HOME” by 

system default.
