Tighten the M16 screw slightly and align the bicycle rack parallel to the rear of the vehicle. Now tighten the M16 screw in such a way to ensure that the rack is
securely attached and can no longer be rotated.
Regularly check the firm seating of the rack on the trailer tow bar as well as the functionality of the lighting systems.
5.2 Mounting the bicycle rack on the trailer tow bar
Make sure that the trailer tow bar is undamaged, clean and grease-free.
The bicycle rack is placed horizontally on the tow bar from above.
Slight signs of pressure on the tow bar ball are normal and do not influence the functionality.
5.1.7 Mounting the frame holder
Undo the handle screw of the frame holder and rotate out fully. Open the cuff of the frame holder and place the inserts around the U-shaped bracket at a position
suitable for your bicycle. Place the cuff around the inserts and push firmly together. Close the frame holder using the handle screw (but do not tighten).
5.3 Mounting the bicycles to the rack
The first bicycle is placed in the first bicycle rail (closest to the vehicle) and secured to the U-shaped bracket using the short frame holder. The wheels are secured
by pushing the stoppers up to the wheel and securing with the straps.
Caution: The front wheel must also be secured with a small tensioning strap to prevent it from turning.
The second bicycle is placed in the second rail, facing the opposite direction and secured to the U-shaped bracket with the short frame holder. The wheels are
secured in the same way as for the first bicycle. The third bicycle is positioned in the third rail, counter to the second. With the frame holders, wheel to wheel,
connect the frame of the third bicycle to that of the second. The wheels are again secured in the same way as for the first bicycle. It may be necessary to arran-
ge the individual bicycles differently on the rack to ensure that the frame holders may be correctly secured. Now secure the bicycles with the long safety strap.
Wrap the safety strap through the bicycle frames and the U-shaped bracket and tighten. Disassemble in reverse order.
The bicycle rack may not be used without this safety strap.
