4.30 Menu Items: Alarm Set- Digital Inputs Used Set

The

Alarm Set- Digital Inputs Used Set

page allows the

user to edit settings for the 6 External Alarm inputs.
The dropdown menu for Input Alarm1~ Input Alarm 6
includes 3 choices:

▪

Not Used

: Choose this setting when not connecting any wires to the 2-wire Alarm Input.

▪

Normal Close

: Choose this setting for the alarm to activate when the 2-wire Alarm input is

physically connected and will switch to open (such as a relay or a FET as a switch). In this
configuration and using a relay, the contacts are NC (Normally Closed) so only alarm when the
relay activates (contacts will be open).

▪

Normal Open

: Choose this setting for the alarm to activate when the 2-wire Alarm input is

physically connected and will switch to closed (such as a relay of a FET as a switch). In this
configuration and using a relay, the contacts are NO (Normally Open) so only alarm when the
relay activates (contacts will be closed).

Click the

Setting

button to capture any changes made in this page.
