Visor
Check the condition of the inspection glass before use and replace it if necessary. For easy replacement, the visor
has four fixing points, of which the upper 2 (eccentric) are used to clamp the visor. No tools are required for repla-
cement.
Dismantling the visor:
The 2 eccentric buckles on the right and left side have to be turned clockwise by 180 degrees to be released from
the
Multimask Pro
.

Then press lightly against the visor at the bottom of the mask hook until the disk pops out.

Mounting the visor:
Fasten the new visor to the lower mask hook and then insert the two eccentric buckles on the right and left side
into the respective holes and fasten it again with a 180 degree counterclockwise rotation. Please make sure that the
visor is mounted correctly and lies on the visor seal.
Exhalation valve
The flutter valve is located on a pin on the
Multimask
Pro
. To change the flutter valve, the visor must be removed
first. Then remove the flutter valve from the pivot and replace it by a new one by pressing the new valve on the
pivot. Please make sure that the valve is correctly and tightly fitted.
Headband / Strapping
If one of the eccentric buckles does not work, both buckles must be replaced with new ones.
Dismantling headgear:
The 2 eccentric buckles on the right and left side have to be turned clockwise by 180 degrees to be released from
the
Multimask Pro. Fig. 9.0 + 9.1
Mounting the headgear:
The eccentric buckle on the right must be mounted in the right side of the mask frame and the eccentric buckle
on the left side must be mounted in the right side of the mask frame. The eccentric buckles are attached to the
Multimask Pro by turning 180 degrees counterclockwise.
Visor seal
Disassembly of the visor seal:
The visor seal should be replaced if the material appears porous or its full function can no longer be guaranteed.
To do so, simply pull the seal off the
Multimask Pro
and remove any adhesive residue from the
Multimask Pro
.
Mounting of visor seal:
(To be performed at the manufacturer's factory or at authorized service centers)
•
Clean the Multimask Pro on the surface to be glued.
•
Important: the seal must not be mounted on tension!
•
Glue the bottom seal with the adhesive side onto the Multimask Pro.
•
Glue the upper seal onto the Multimask Pro.
•
Please make sure that no leaks are caused by incorrect gluing of the seal or at the connecting pieces from
the lower to the upper part of the seal.
