Open the chain link and split the chain, then connect the free chain section (the left one) to the new chain 
with a connecting link (MOFA 084-304links) 

  

 

 
-

 

Turn the driving wheel mechanism to replace the old chain with a new one (this way the wheel geometry is 
not impaired to much) 

-

 

Disconnect the chains and connect the new one (!!!Spring clip upwards!!!) 

-

 

Check the position of the chain in the pulleys 

-

 

Tension the chain but do not over load it, the chain slack should be approx 10mm 

-

 

Lubricate the chain with a chain lubrication spray 

-

 

Check the wheel geometry – see 

6.15 Wheel geometry alignment

Disconnect the battery and spark plug to prevent accidental starting of the machine and possible injury
