DRIVE AND STEERING BELTS 

 

INSPECTION 

 

1)  Place the mower on a flat and firm surface, press CENTRAL STOP on both the controller and the mower 

and remove the key

.

 

2)  Remove the engine cover and the side covers (4x screw - use a 17 mm socket with an extension).

 

3)  Check the chain tension by applying a slight thumb pressure in the middle of the branch. Deflection should 

be within 2 cm.

 

4)  If the tension is insufficient, loosen the belt tensioner pulley nuts and refill.

 

5)  After tensioning, tighten the screws.

 

6)  If any part is damaged or worn, replace it.

 

 

TENSIONING 

 

DRIVE BELT 

Tensioning is carried out with the belt tensioner (Loosen the nut, tension the belt and again tighten the nut.) 

 

 

STEERING CHAIN 

Tensioning is carried out with the chain tensioner. 

TIP: For better access to belt and chain tensioner on the left, unlock the tank strap and tilt the tank. Carry out 
maintenance on the belt and fasten the tank properly back in place. Make sure that no fuel leaks when handling the 
tank. 

 

 

TRACTION DRIVE BELT 

These are maintenance-free belts, in case of excessive tension, have the belt replaced by an authorized service 
center. 

 

EXCHANGE

 

 
Damaged and worn chains / belts must be replaced immediately. Have the replacement carried out by an authorized 
service center.
