7.5 GEOMETRY ADJUSTMENT
The geometry is adjusted mechanically. The mower operator evaluates whether the geometry needs to be adjusted
or not.
If you do not have the necessary equipment and experience, have this work done by a specialist.
INSPECTION
Checking the geometry alignment is done by placing a straight
lath on the rubber side of the tires or the chain covers.
In case of deviations, follow the procedure below.
GEOMETRY ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURE
1)
so that the body is in contact with the
floor and the wheels are lifted free from the ground.
2)
Hold down the skid-steering switch button so that the
wheels slightly deflect, then release the button - the
wheels return to the initial adjustment position. Turn off
engine but keep remote connection to machine on.
3)
Remove the engine and side chassis covers.
4)
Begin adjusting one side first, then continue with the remaining side.
5)
Loosen the two bolts on the front wheel sensor. (3mm Allen key)
6)
Loosen the 3 screws on the portal sprocket (13mm key)
7)
Place the straight lath on the wheel portals on the left and right side and adjust the
wheels so that they are parallel.
8)
Turn the front wheel gently to rotate the wheel so that it is parallel. Then manually
align the rear wheel.
9)
Once both wheels are parallel, tighten the bolts on the sensor and then the
bolts on the sprocket.
10) Adjust the remaining side wing in the same way. The machine is ready for
further use.
