SPEED SELECTION
Always choose a suitable driving speed that will allow for a satisfactory mowing quality. When selecting a speed,
always go from lower to higher speeds, not vice versa.
THERE ARE TWO METHODS TO SELECT SPEED:
Swiveling the joystick
•
The mower is stationary in the neutral
position.
•
The greater the deflection, the higher the
mower speed.
Changing the turtle / rabbit switch
•
Shifting the lever to rabbit mode increases the
speed / in turtle mode speed is decreased by half
•
This function is effective when the travel joystick is
depressed.
WARNING
Never reduce speed by reducing engine speed ! The speed always changes only by pressing the drive
joystick.
WARNING
Change the speed mode (rabbit/turtle) only when the machine is stationary!
SPIDER MODE
The mower is equipped with a unique SPIDER mode control system (also known as the “dance step”), thanks to
which all 4 wheels turn at full 360°, so there is no need to rotate the machine if you need to change direction.
SKID-STEERING
Skid-steering is used to rotate the machine around its vertical axis. You will appreciate it especially when cutting
around various obstacles and when approaching a transport trailer or vehicle.
To skid the mower:
1) Stop the mower on a flat surface and turn the wheels straight in the direction of the winch
2) Hold the skid turn switch so that the wheel pair on the right side
rotates in 180 °
3) At the same time move the joystick forward (or backward) to rotate the mower around its vertical axis to the
desired position
WARNING
Always skid-steer on a level, firm and horizontal surface. Skid-steering can cause unwanted terrain
erosion.
WARNING
Skid-steering serves only for minor corrections to the mower's direction. Gears and tire tread suffer when
skid-steering too often.
5.6 CUTTING BLADE ON/OFF
To switch on the cutting deck, set the blade on / off switch to ON.
To turn off the cutting deck, set the blade on / off switch to OFF.
WARNING
Keep the blade switched on when you are mowing. Always switch off the blade when moving between
mowed areas.
