11 Adjusting the sewing foot feed

11.1 Adjusting the zero stroke of the feet, tension force of the 

torsion spring

The zero stroke of the sewing feet must be adjusted with the upper ma-
chine cover removed. To perform the adjustment, position the connecting 
rods (1) in a line.

Proper setting

When the connecting rods (1) are in a line:

The ball pin (7) is touching the stop screw (9).

The torsion spring is twisted 15° to 20°.
