7 x 3130mm Joists

21 x 3130mm Floor boards

• Layout fl oor joists as shown, ensuring

joists are spaced evenly apart.

• Using 50mm fl ooring nails, nail a fl oor

board on each end, ensuring ends are

fl ush with joists. Make sure fl oor is level

and joists are well supported.

SUB FLOOR FRAME

TIMBER SHOWING NAILS

• Layout remaining fl oor boards.

• Measure diagonals to ensure

measurements are equal and fl oor is

sqare.

• Rip down last fl oor board to suit gap

and nail off fl oor with 50mm fl ooring

nails (14 nails per board).

• Ensure timber fl oor is suffi ciently

secured down to foundation.
