Batteries
Use 6 1.5 V AA batteries to operate the device and place them in the battery compartment
on the underside of the control unit. Please mind the correct polarity.
The 6 batteries last about 40 hours. If you are not using the device for a week or more,
take out the batteries.

• The mode display shows the 5 different modes. Use the mode /- to change the
mode.
• The object grid is located directly above the LCD display, which shows the usual metal
types found. When one kind of metal is found, it is shown on the object display.
• The object display is teardrop-shaped and lights up under the symbol of each localised
object.
• There are 4 alarm sounds in connection with the object display (see table).
