Turn on the device. You will hear a start-up sequence of 4 tones and all LCE elements will
blink. The search mode is set to all metals. The unit is set to sensitivity level 3.

Normally, you should search in this mode. It distinguishes the different kinds of metals.
If you have a specific metal that you want to search for, you can set the appropriate
mode to avoid detecting unwanted metal objects.

Due to differences in soil conditions, we recommend that you create various metal sam
-
ples, bury them and adjust the unit based on the results.
4. If you set a higher sensitivity, the device will respond to weaker signals. It will also be
prone to error messages by electrical equipment and electromagnetic interference from
power lines or cables and earth minerals. Thus, if you get faulty signals, please reduce
the sensitivity.
5. When searching, you should move the search coil at a steady pace. Hold the search coil
parallel to the ground and about 1-2 cm above the ground. Do not swing the search coil
like a pendulum but let it hover evenly just above the ground (see picture).
6. Precious objects result in repeated signals being sent. If the signal is not repeated, it
was probably a false signal. When you hear a clear sound, you will be able to see the
estimated depth and type of metal on the screen.
