Properly Installed End Glass
5. Align the Small Gasket with the Mounting Clip
on the Pilaster and press the glass into the
extrusion.
Daycover Door
WARNING:
THE POWER MUST BE TURNED OFF
AND DISCONNECTED AT ALL TIMES
DURING MAINTENANCE OR REPAIR
FUNCTIONS.
Location of Daycover Door
The Daycover Door is located at the front of the
unit. It is part of the Daycover assembly.
1. Remove food products from the area and
remove the unit from its power source.
2. Remove the End Glass from both sides of the
Daycover Door that requires replacement.
Refer to END GLASS – TRI CHANNEL
replacement instructions in the PARTS
REPLACEMENT section of this manual.
Fixed Glass Lock Clips
3. On units with Fixed Glass, remove the top
Lock Clips
4. Place the Door in its closed position.
5. Remove the Gas Dampers and the Gas Shocks.
Refer to GAS DAMPER AND GAS SHOCK
replacement in the PARTS REPLACEMENT
section of this manual.
CAUTION: Gas Dampers and Shocks are
under pressure. Use caution
when removing.
6. Use a small razor knife or box cutter to score
along the edges of the Hinge Blocks to loosen
the silicone sealant.
7. Remove the nuts securing the Hinge Blocks
to the base unit.
