3.10. CN6 (GSM Module) – ANTI-JAMMING (GSM anti-blinding protection)
The panel can recognize if the GSM module can not connect correctly to the GSM network due to a GSM
blinding attempt .
There is a dedicated output
CN6 - activated when blinding is present – through which is possible to activate an
additional alarm communication system (example: external PSTN module, radio transmitter…) and receive an
advice.
Connection example:
If the GSM module detects jamming on the GSM signal, it switches the output
CN6 (OptoMOS, N.C. type):
•
the alert starts after about 20 seconds from jamming : CN6 will open .
•
the output return to rest after about
30 seconds from the ending of the jamming

When there is no GSM network service (example: the network is temporarily unreachable, the control panel
is installed in a place where there is a low level GSM signal …) the anti-jamming DOES NOT consider
blinding, the dedicated output stay at rest (CN6 stay closed).
